Upper Moreland Police Hire 2 New Officers

On February 4, 2019, at the Upper Moreland Township Board of Commissioner’s Meeting, the Upper Moreland Police Department swore-in two new officers, Officer Christopher Hens (left) and Officer Randy Czerviski (right).

Officer Hens graduated from Hatboro-Horsham High School and attended Gwynedd Mercy University where he played baseball. While attending Gwynedd Mercy, he co-attended the Municipal Police Academy at Montgomery County Community College and completed a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and the Act 120 program.

Officer Czerviski graduated from Hatboro-Horsham High School and attended Penn State University – Abington where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. He also attended the Municipal Police Academy at Montgomery County Community College. Officer Czerviski was a member of the Boy Scouts and earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He is currently a member of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard and a member of the Horsham and Warrington Volunteer Fire Companies.
