PBA Officers

The Upper Moreland Police Benevolent Association is a law enforcement labor union that was established in 1997 to represent the active and retired Police Officers of the Upper Moreland Township Police Department.

While mainly being the sole collective bargaining agent for contract negotiations, the Upper Moreland Township PBA also supports the community through various activities throughout the year, including hosting and attending public events, supporting the community, and providing donations to families in need.

Upper Moreland PBA Safety Tips

The Upper Moreland PBA would like to remind parents to continue to monitor your child’s cellphone use. Free apps can be easily downloaded and may appear to be harmless, such as for posting pictures or chatting with friends. What many do not realize is that these apps can be used for illegal or harmful activities, such as, posting and/or exchanging explicit photos, videos, and language. Some apps may even document the users cellphone location without the user’s consent.

Support The PBA

Every Upper Moreland Township resident will receive a mailer that will provide an opportunity to send a donation through the mail.  Each year we receive incredible support from our community.  The PBA is truly appreciative to all who take the time to send in donations.

COVID-19

The Upper Moreland PBA would like to thank the residents and businesses of Upper Moreland Township and the surrounding areas for your continued support during this difficult time.

On June 5, 2020, Governor Wolf announced that Montgomery County would move to the “Yellow Phase” of his plan to reopen Pennsylvania.  While the “Stay At Home” order has been lifted, this phase continues to place restrictions on social gatherings and recreational activities.  On June 8, 2020, the Township Board of Commissioners reminded residents of Upper Moreland Township that the township parks remain closed until further notice.

Please visit the link below for further information on the “Yellow Phase” and how it may continue to affect you.
