Upper Moreland Officers Participate in Police Unity Tour

Between May 9 and May 12, 2018, Officer Ford and Officer Clauhs represented the Upper Moreland PBA by participating in the Police Unity Tour.  The Police Unity Tour is a bicycle riding event to raise awareness of Law Enforcement Officers who have died in the line of duty.  Officer Ford and Officer Clauhs began the Tour from Philadelphia and, over a four-day period, their entire group rode 270 miles to the Police Memorial in Washington DC.  They averaged between 50 to 60 miles of riding per day, including a stop for lunch at Camden Yards in Baltimore, Maryland.  At the end of the Tour, Officer Ford escorted the survivors as part of the Honor Guard for the fallen officer’s candle light vigil while Officer Clauhs assisted with the event.

Officer Ford’s and Officer Clauhs’s commitment to honoring those fallen officers reflects well on their dedication to the profession and community.  Great job!
