Patrol Sergeant Retires From The Upper Moreland Township Police Department

On January 4, 2019, Sergeant Newhall officially retired as a Patrol Sergeant with the Upper Moreland Township Police Department.  Sgt. Newhall spent 20 years with the Department and held the position of Sergeant for 8 years.  He was also the Upper Moreland Township Emergency Management Coordinator and a firefighter with the Upper Dublin Fire Department.

Sergeant Newhall will move on and become the Chief of Police for the Valley Township Police Department in Chester County, PA.  He is currently a firefighter with the Worcester Fire Department and will remain part-time with the Willow Grove Fire Department.
